CEPP Tier 3: 'LIFESAVER' Programme
As a follow up to the ‘RESPONSE READY’ programme, participants will learn the following comprehensive lifesaving skills as well as advanced EP knowledge namely:
• First Aid (enhanced)
o ImmobilisIng fractures
o Handling of fits
o Recognising the signs and symptoms of stroke
• CPR-AED
o 1-Man CPR-AED (including mouth-to-mouth resuscitation)
o 2-Men CPR
o Infant CPR
• Fire Safety & Evacuation and Procedures
o Triangle of Combustion
o Classes of Fire
o Refresher of Fire Extinguisher and Hose-reel operating procedures
o Methods of casualty evacuation
o Evacuation procedures in typical HDB residential estates & super high-rise residential buildings
• Emergency Procedures
o In Place Protection Procedures
o Knowledge on PWS Sirens
o Decontamination Procedures
